I’ve called Lincoln County home for most of my life. I grew up in Denver and have lived in Lincolnton for more than 27 years, so my knowledge of this area comes from more than working here as a REALTOR®—I’ve watched it grow and change over the years.
Lincoln County offers a little bit of everything, from established neighborhoods and historic homes to new construction, rural properties, manufactured homes and homes with room to spread out. Communities Around Lincoln County
One of the things I enjoy about working in Lincoln County is how different the communities can feel even though they’re relatively close to one another.
Lincolnton is where I’ve lived for more than 27 years and where my real estate business is based. You’ll find everything from older homes near downtown and established neighborhoods to newer construction and homes with larger lots outside the city.
Denver is where I grew up, and I’ve watched that area change tremendously over the years. Its location along the eastern side of Lincoln County puts it closer to Lake Norman and the Charlotte area, with a mix of established neighborhoods, newer developments and properties with more land.
Iron Station, Vale and Crouse offer their own mix of homes and settings, including established neighborhoods and more rural properties. Depending on what you’re looking for, there are also areas of Lincoln County where you’ll encounter wells, septic systems, acreage and manufactured homes—things that can make the buying process a little different from purchasing a home in a traditional subdivision.

Buying a Home in Lincoln County
Buying in Lincoln County can look very different depending on the property. One home may be in an established neighborhood with public water and sewer, while another may have acreage, a private well and septic system. You may be looking at an older home in Lincolnton, new construction in the Denver area, or a manufactured home on its own land.
Those differences matter. They can affect inspections, financing, due diligence and the questions you should be asking before you make an offer.
